Facelift, Upper and Lower Blepharoplasty, Forehead Lift

This patient is a woman in her forties who wanted cosmetic improvement of her face, forehead, and eyes. She did not want it to be obvious that she had undergone facelift.

She underwent facelift, endoscopic forehead lift, and upper and lower blepharoplasty.

The photos demonstrate many changes. The anterior view shows that the brows are more elevated and the eyes are more open. Although it is difficult to see on these small photos, the drooping fold of skin on the upper eyelids has been decreased. The anterior and side views show that the wrinkles on the lower cheeks near the mouth have been significantly reduced, and the "cheekbones" are fuller. (The word cheekbones is in quotes because what we commonly call cheekbones is actually a combination of the bones with the overlying soft tissue and skin. In this case, only the soft tissue and skin were moved.) The contour from the lower eyelids to the cheeks is much improved as seen on the lateral view. This patient was so happy with the result that she came back from Oklahoma so that we could take these four month postoperative photos.

This patient is a woman in her fifties who was bothered by signs of facial aging. Specifically, she did not like the jowls and nasolabial folds.

She underwent a facelift to rejuvenate the face and neck.

The frontal postoperative photo demonstrates a decrease in the nasolabial folds, decrease in the wrinkles around the lips, and improvement in the jawline. The side view shows improvement in the contour of the chin and neck as well as the cheeks. Together, these changes account for her younger and more rested appearance after surgery.
